Chu proactively brought the bag to the Pa Vi Commune Police Office. The bag contained 2.9 million VND, 1,425 Australian dollars and the Australian tourist's identification documents.

Receiving the property, Viresh Saraswat was very emotional and thanked Chu and the Pa Vi Commune Police for their help.
