Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee inspects Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project

BHG - Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the implementation of phase 1 of the section of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project passing through Ha Giang Province, on May 11.

According to the report of the Project Management Board of Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project (project investor): The total value of construction of 3 bidding packages to date has reached over 625 billion VND, reaching 27.01% of the contract value. Of which, package No. 03-XL started construction on June 20, 2023, with a realised output value of over 288 billion VND, reaching 35.54% of the contract value.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son directed the project to speed up the progress of the line section in Vinh Tuy Town.

Package No. 04-XL started construction on October 30, 2023. The realised output value was over 211 billion VND, reaching 27.7% of the contract value. Package No. 05-XL started construction on November 5, 2023, the realised output value was over 125 billion VND, reaching 17% of the contract value.

The total of 3 bidding packages is currently mobilising 795 personnel, with 388 items of construction machinery and equipment at the site. The total planned capital allocated for the project is over 1,476 billion VND, with disbursement at over 1,343 billion VND, reaching 91.02%. However, the project currently has some problems with the site. The work of moving technical infrastructure works out of the project scope is still slow.

In Bac Quang District, there has been a lot of rain in recent days, affecting the construction progress, the output performed on site does not meet the requirements compared to the plan.

Through the actual inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son directed Bac Quang District to completely handle problems related to compensation and site clearance, and urgently take measures to move technical infrastructure and hand over the site to the investor and construction contractor.

It is necessary to advise and propose solutions to remove problems beyond authority so that the province can resolve them in a timely manner, complete relevant documents and procedures, determine specific volume and construction times, and develop specific progress charts.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son shared difficulties with contractors, encouraged the collective of officials, workers, and labourers working on the project to continue efforts to overcome difficulties to accelerate project progress.
