Creating momentum for businesses to “take off”
BHG - Faced with the fact that small and medium-sized enterprises do not have enough necessary resources and support in accessing information and legal knowledge to serve production and business activities, Ha Giang provincial authorities have promoted support activities related to legal issues for businesses, towards creating momentum for businesses to “take off”.

The province currently has 3,784 enterprises, most of which are small and medium-sized, with a total registered capital of over 36.5 trillion VND. In particular, there are 566 joint stock companies, 1,290 one-memberlimited liability companies, 1,694 two-member limited liability companies, 86 private enterprises and 1,148 affiliated units. Legal aid is the key which contributes to raising awareness and a sense of compliance with the law,helping businesses limit risks and legal problemsfor effective production and business. Therefore, based on surveys, the Provincial People’s Committee has issued a plan for annual legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises, properly meeting the needs of businesses following the socio-economic development of the locality.
In addition to the province's policy of legal assistance for small and medium-sized enterprises, the businesseshave raised their awareness of compliance with the law according to therule of law. This is an important basisto realise the goal of “Enterprises prosper - Ha Giang develops”. To date, the province has 2,755 enterprises andaffiliated units operating effective production and business activities. The businesses in Ha Giang have been overcoming difficulties day-by-day to affirm their position in the marketplace, contributing more than 60% of the province's annual total budget revenue and creating jobs for thousands of local workers.
