BHG - In recent years, Dong Van District has made significant efforts to create job opportunities for locals through numerous programmes. BHG - Na Khe is a border commune of Yen Minh District, more than 20 kilometres from the district centre. The commune has three border villages: Na Po, Ban Rao, and Seo Ho, with 229 households.
BHG - From a small-scale breeding household, Vang Mi Danh, based in Pac Ngam Village, Lao Va Chai Commune, Yen Minh District, began to focus on expanding the model of raising buffaloes and cows to sell meat since 2008. With experience in raising cattle and veterinary knowledge, he often went to livestock markets within and outside the district to buy skinny buffaloes and cows and hired people to take care of them and fatten them up with rice bran and corn flour. Each purchased cattle, after 3-6 months of fattening, could be sold for a profit of 2-5 million VND per head. At times, his family’s herd of buffaloes and cows reached 20-30 heads.

BHG - AS of the end of July 2024, the whole of Ha Giang Province has planted more than 26,000 hectares of Summer-Autumn crops, reaching more than 93% of the 2024 plan —an increase of nearly 10% compared to the same period in 2023.
BHG - As many as 30 hectares of custard apples in the residential areas No.6, 7, 8 and 9 in Quang Trung Ward (Ha Giang City) are entering the harvest season. This year, the custard apple crop has been abundant with good quality, beautiful appearance, and stable prices ranging from 50,000 to 90,000 VND per kilogramme, depending on the type. The estimated yield is around 100 tonnes. The harvest season extends from July to November, bringing joy to farmers with increased income. Quang Trung rocky mountain custard apples have become a well-received market brand.

BHG - The proportion of value from high-tech products among processing and manufacturing industries is expected to reach at least 10.08%, and the growth rate of industrial added value is anticipated to stand at an average of 9.79% per year by 2030. These are the goals set by Ha Giang Province to implement the Politburo’s Resolution No.23, dated March 22, 2018, on building a national industrial development policy until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
