13:54, 20/08/2024

BHG - Lo Lo Chai Village is located at the foot of Rong (Dragon) Mountain, Lung Cu Commune, Dong Van District. This is where the Mong and Lo Lo ethnic groups have lived for generations. They have worked together, lived in harmony and stuck to the windy and foggy frontier land. As a destination for tourists when going to the stone plateau or visiting the National Flagpole, the village is always filled with a joyful and friendly atmosphere.

The Lo Lo people of Lung Cu Commune have unique traditional cultures of the ethnic group, such as the Ancestor Worship Ceremony, which was recognised as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2012. The traditional festival of the Lo Lo ethnic group was held with many unique cultural and sports activities, last September. The highlight is the dance of the Lo Lo ethnic group, attracting a large number of tourists to attend and learn. Traditional dances are often performed after the worshipping rituals. When the sound of the bronze drums resounds, the Lo Lo girls in colourful dresses form a circle around the yard, joining in the dance of the ethnic group. The sound of the ancient drums urges the rhythmic dance to the drum beat, bringing endless joy and happiness to the Lo Lo people on the border of the Fatherland.
