Ly Mi Cuong wins first prize at youth music festival in China
BHG - The Qingyin Award – Youth Music Festival 2024 was recently held in China. Ly Mi Cuong, a contestant from Vietnam’s Ha Giang Province was named among the contest winners.

The Qingyin Awards - Youth Music Festival, held at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou, China, is sponsored by many Chinese and international conservatories, universities of education, national universities, and art schools.
This year’s festival attracted the participation of nearly 600 contestants, from many countries around the world. The entrants competed in various categories, including vocal, composition, and musical instrument performances, such as piano, violin, guitar choir, chamber music, and traditional musical instruments.
The Vietnamese delegation to the event had nine members. Of them, one contestant from Ha Giang Province. He is Ly Mi Cuong, a Mong ethnic man from Dong Van District. Cuong excellently defeated other contestants and won first prize in the traditional musical instrument category. This is his proud achievement and also an opportunity to introduce his ethnic culture to the world.
